Planning Office

In order to meet the demands arising from the nation's economic developments and social needs, the Planning Division has the responsibility of setting up policies and principles that will serve as guidelines for the various divisions in planning their research projects and investigation plans. For those large projects that need full cooperation from most of the technical divisions, the Planning Division plays a role in integration, coordination, and supervision of the project performance. The division also acts as a liaison in cooperative research and exchange of technical know-how between geological institutions both domestic and abroad. The division is preparing a quality control handbook for all the technical divisions to ensure satisfactory results of project performance.
